Serengeti National Park, located in northern Tanzania, is known for its large annual migration of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles.
The majority of the Big Five are present. Indeed, Serengeti National Park is quite simply the second animal park in Africa. Serengeti Park, which means “endless plain”, is the ideal place to observe this magnificent wild fauna in flat terrain.
The park is a vast migration corridor for the herbivores. In search of new pastures, herds of wildebeest (the great majority), gazelles and zebras move north and for the most part, cross the Grumeti river, invaded by crocodiles.
